Funding entity Endesa
The purpose of this activity is the evaluation of the proposals that have been received to apply for the NOVARE awards in R&D in energy for the 2006 edition, according to the norms that have been established by ENDESA. The four areas of interest in this 2006 edition are as follows:
„« Clean Combustion technologies: generation with minimum emissions and maximum efficiency, capture and storage of CO2, capture of SO2, reduction of NOx, capture of particulae and heavy metals, oxycombustion, high temperature compressors, etc.
„« Renewable and new energy sources: biomass, wind, solar, geothermal, waves, biodiesel, hydrogen, nuclear fusion, etc.
„« Quality and reliability of service: Intelligent distribution networks, sustainability considerations, energy storage, etc.
„« The customer: New products, services and applications, load management, energy efficiency and saving, etc.
Professors and researchers of the Technical School of Engineering (ICAI) of Comillas University will participate in this evaluation.
